It is the Chinese traditional festival "winter festival". Michael could leave office earlier. While I needn't teach at all, I took Hiu Tsun to visit him. Hiu Tsun always loves going to his office.. for his office chair! haha

We had a great dinner in a Japanese restaurant that we haven't gone for a while. The food is still nice.

chess all day

Hiu Tsun starts her X'mas holiday. While we bought her a box of various chess yesterday, she wanted to play it all day long today. I suppose it is what we must do in the following days. Let's see when she will get bored to it.

get a cold

I really get a cold. At least my stomach is fine and I can eat as normal.

In the afternoon, I went to a fun fair without any plans before. Guess what, there was a guy who dressed like Phantom!!! Hiu Tsun could recognise him for sure! :) And, he said she was the only girl who know him! She has a great "tutor" of phantom at home! LOL!

My nose is feeling horrible. >

The weather is still cold. I didn't want to wake up early for the lessons. My students gave me X'mas card and one even gave me a box of chocolate. (his mother really knows me well! haha)
After teaching 2 students, I started feeling uncomfortable. I didn't know what's wrong with me. So, I couldn't have good energy to teach the later 2 students. Luckily their mothers were out ...

I couldn't eat much for lunch or dinner . :(

I felt a bit better after sleeping in the afternoon but I am still feeling unwell.. so sick..

my father lost his bus card this morning. It is such an unlucky thing for him. :( He must be upset and mad at himself. Hope someone can get it for him. Please keep your fingers crossed for him.

It is much colder today. Michael is even unluckier while he needs to go to China today. The temperature in China is always lower than here in winter. Well, he doesn't mind cold weather normally so it isn't a real problem for him.

Hiu Tsun's performance

Hiu Tsun's kindergarten had a X'mas concert and party today. She had a performance with all of her classmates. The performance is quite easy this time. Perhaps it is good for her while she was absent for 8 school days. If the performance is hard, the teachers might not allow her to do much then.

At night, we had dinner outside with my parents for the coming "Chinese Winter festival". Delicious!

I will have one lesson only so it will be a relaxing day for me.

The medicine is finished so my mind would be more clear again?! My skin is much better. I don't know it is due to the medicine or by myself.

X'mas light

Today isn't too cold so we decided to go to see the X'mas light. It is quite beautiful this year. The streets and shops are full of people. Just feel it is totally different from Australia.

The skin of my face isn't fine without any confirmed reasons. The doctor just said my skin might be sensitive to somethings. He gave me some medicine and it makes me super sleepy. However, my Saturday is long. I can't think well. What I want is going to bed only.

I was sleepy and went to sleep early last night. So, I woke up early again today. My biological clock is still according to the AU time. I still need to wake up early for piano lessons tomorrow. It will be a full teaching day for me.

I went to bed quite early last night so I woke up early this morning. My first student changes the lesson to tomorrow so I can start teaching after lunch time.

We left Australia quite early but there was a mild traffic jam. Moreover, the queues in the airport were all long so we couldn't get the tax refund. :(

My mother felt very sick during the flight. She vomitted for many times. Poor her. She would not want to take any long flight in the near future.

We are all tired but I don't want to go to bed too early. I better follow HK time again or I would not adjust my own biological clock easily.

My mailbox is full!! It breaks my record to receive 12 letters!! :) Wow!

last day in AU

I can't believe that my holiday is nearly over. I know I will miss the time here a lot.

We don't do a lot today. We went to an outlet near my sister's home. My sister, her husband and my mother can choose something nice but I get nothing. I don't mind at all because I am happy enough to see them getting great things. It seems i always get nothing when I go shopping with the others. I feel I have saved some money then! haha

I met Jasmine, my penfriend in Australia, today. :) She took 3 kids to meet me too. They are lovely with blond hair + blue eyes. meeting penfriends always makes my trip more special and happier.

Afterward, I meet my parents, my sister and her husband in Hornsby. We bought some medicine, a book for Hiu Tsun and so on. I just can't buy any clothes for myself yet. let's see I can find somethings nice or not tomorrow. It will be my last chance!

back from Gold Coast

We are back from Gold Coast. I love Gold Coast pretty much. The beaches are beautiful and the atmosphere there is nice. The theme parks and the farm we went were great as well.

It is very late now so I would not write much.

back to my sister's home

Just a short updated:

We stayed at a Sydney resort for 2 nights. Now we are back to my sister's home and get ready to go to Gold Coast tomorrow. :)

We did sight seeing around Sydney, such as the Opera House, Sydney Tower. Wild Life World and so on. Today we went to the fish market and had some yummy sea food. :) Tonight, we are going to eat some steak! yummy yummy!

We are in Australia now.

The flight wasn't smooth. My parents didn't feel so well after eating the ice bar. Hiu Tsun couldn't sleep at first so she was a bit moody. I can't sleep much as well. When it was ready to land, my ears were super pain! >< It is my first time to have this painful experience. Hiu Tsun didn't feel too well at last because she also ate the ice bar.

We could see my sister and her husband quickly. They told us a bad news : Peter's car's window was broken because a thief tried to steal somethings! So unlucky!

We didn't do much. Just had lunch in a food court and had a fast window shopping. As I expected, I couldn't buy anything. The quality of the clothes and shoes weren't that good in my mind.

Then, Hiu Tsun, my father and Michael had a nap. Peter and I played Wii at home. Afterward, we had dinner with Peter's parents.

While I couldn't sleep much in the plane, I believe I can sleep very well tonight.

We will stay at the resort in Sydney since tomorrow. Thus, I can't access online to update my entry here then.

So exciting! We will go to the airport tonight. I finished teaching 2 students in the early morning. 2 students cancelled the lesson for their visa. It is fine for me this time while i have more time to prepare everything.
Let's hope the weather there would be better than imagined. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

I might not be here everyday. But I will try to update when I have the chances! :)

My student called me last night and said she couldn't reach home as early as planned. :( So, the lesson should be started much later. :( I don't really like that as her home is very far away. But, while I can't have lessons with her next week, I should avoid skipping lessons for her.

The weather seems to be bad in AU next week. Wish us luck please!

cool in AU?

My sister told me it was hot in AU last week as it was over 40C!! So, I expected it would be still hot when we are in AU and have packed the summer clothes in the suitcase. Now, we all find out that it will be around 17-21C next week! It would be cool for me and I must wear long sleeves instead of tank tops. I guess I Should choose other clothes to put in the suitcase then... well.. at least I know it now so I could prepare some warmer clothes from here. Shopping in AU would be too expensive for me.

glasses frame

Hiu Tsun hit my glasses by accident last night. So, my glasses frame isn't in a correct position. I really hate that! >< I hope the glasses shop will not be closed today so I can get it fixed as soon as possible. It is impossible for me to live without glasses. :(

The weather is warmer. It will be above 20C in the afternoon. :) but I will teach till late evening so I still need to wear enough clothes when I go out.

My father will go back to his company today. Maybe he will miss his working life then?
